2. I'm happy for Hillary and Chelsea, however...

I don't doubt for one second that Chelesa's pregnancy, and the arrival of Hillary's grandchild, will be used to gain political points. I'm a big fan of Hillary, and withstood several personal attacks here for that support during the 2007-2008 primaries, as did other Hillary supporters during that period. But I'm also a realist.

We'll also leave nothing unmolested in our attempts to defame and attack whoever the pukes nominate. This is politics in present day America - truth and honest political debate about the issues facing the nation no longer take a back seat to the various machinations of dirty, misleading politics, they're hanging onto the back bumper. Somebody here recently said that that nothing real exists in politics anymore, that it's all just one big unscrupulous PR war. To which I can only say, yep.

to be seen as a human being. No doubt family will be used by the Clintons. That doesn't mean that is why the family is expanding. Surely you don't think Chelsea got married to score points for her parents.

Her staunch supporters will fight even harder, and the fence sitters will probably feel like they did during Bill's impeachment... it will make her even more popular.
