that she will be satisfied with. If not, I think that pup could have a spot here with me, if my rescue met her criteria.

Thankfully, the Pitbull Extermination Brigade will have no say in it. Ignorant fucks.

The good news is that she has received over 500 requests to adopt Sherlock. My heart breaks for her. To top it all, she's living in a motel. I wonder if there's someone who has the space and compassion to adopt both Patricia and Sherlock. She deserves better than to spend her last few months on earth in a motel. It would be so lovely if she was in a home surrounded by people who cared for her.

Her owner was dying of cancer. My husband was director of radation therapy and hospice folks knew we lived in the country.
We had sweet Peggy Sue for 8 years until she passed away.
Interesting side note, her owner was dying of lung cancer and a heavy smoker.
Peggy Sue seemed to be unable to smell things when we walked out through the forest. Our other dogs would have nose to the ground but it took Peggy about 5 months before she did that.
We always wondered if it was the heavy cigarette smoke she live with her first 2 years.
