8. putting this on your FACEBOOK page, you mean?
Last edited Sat Apr 19, 2014, 09:13 PM - Edit history (2) this is the "image source" for the pic, by right clicking in firefox.
ht tp://imgs.xkcd.com/co mics/free_speech.png on FB, click in the box on your page, "whats on your mind" and paste in the url and spiff it up with your comments. As I do a lot of FB, I can say this graphic is REALLY MAKING THE ROUNDS ON FB TODAY! -JIM edit - added spaces to the url so it can be seen as a url string instead of a repeat of the comic graphic (my bad) |

5. Civics classes?
Oh how 1950's quaint.
I think most American School Systems are following the orders of our Oligarch's to insure we are UTTERLY IGNORANT OF HOW OUR GOVERNMENT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK and what our obligations as citizens are. I think civics or the equivalent, is only found in select pockets her and there and is no longer a part of most standard public school curriculum. I COULD BE WRONG. As Carlin once said, they don't want smart informed voters. They just want people smart enough to run the machines and dumb enough not to know they are being screwed by a system that threw them overboard thirty ears ago. -90% Jimmy |

10. I've always thought that
people would be far better served by a class in economics, even at the high school level, than by vapid descriptions of How a Bill Becomes a Law that have no resemblance to reality.
