After Former KKK Leader Shoots Up Jewish Centers, CNN Asks: ‘Can The Klan Rebrand?’

Are you fucking serious?

One week after a Ku Klux Klan member shot three people dead at Jewish institutions in Kansas, CNN is speculating, “Can the Klan rebrand?”

“Imperial Ancona, who lives in Missouri, insists there’s a new Klan for modern times — a Klan that’s “about educating people to our ideas and getting people to see our point of view to…help change things,” CNN’s Ashley Fantz writes. “He said he and those like him can spread that message without violence — a sort of rebranding of the Klan.”

To learn if this is possible, Fantz asked marketing and PR experts if America’s most infamous white supremacist group could shed its violent past. According to one quoted ad agency president, lynchings are not too different from products, like a car that kills people because of an exploding gas tank. In his words, “if you have a car that is killing people because the gas tank is exploding, it doesn’t matter how fantastic the ad campaign is for that car.” CNN should have also taken note that this is not the first time the KKK has declared it is “rebranding.”

The 2,000 word story has provoked backlash and derision on Twitter and in the media. Gawker described it as “a landmark expression of idiocy.”

I can see Don Lemon seriously shilling this meme.

Since the Rapture of the Flight 370 Incident...anything is possible.

This is not out of the realm of possibility.

I would laugh (your clever response would be funny) if this were in a different context

Like all of us, Vlad had his funny little ways. Things like roasting children and feeding their flesh to their mothers. Or forcing husbands to eat the severed breasts of their wives. Or slowly impaling his captured enemies on sharpened wooden spikes. And there were not just a few victims, but tens of thousands. For this reason, Vlad is sometimes remembered as a cruel man. But why are the good things he did forgotten? Has history overlooked his kinder gentler side? Don't miss Rebranding Vlad the Impaler!

The tea party are the attack dog of the RNC.
And the tooth bone is connected to the jaw bone.
Really its a romantic endeavor to the 21 century armchair righty. It harkens them back to the good old days and they connect with their grandpa's. They share the comraderie of their fellow sportsmans club members. Their fellow militia members, Their shops and their minimum wage jobs at corporate consumer heaven...... The poorer we get the less we get along.
The more fractured we got gave rise an opportunity for extreme hate groups to establish themselves. What is baffling is that in our quasi police state this movement was practically nurtured and that the armed protesters are actually among the law enforcement community!
And that is dangerous and that is frightening.

Candy Crowley for the defense:

"Oh, that poor, poor man is just so misunderstood! Think how this is going to affect his career! What about his future?"
