Is currently engaging in threats against law enforcement. I thought even they would be smart enough to figure out that getting behind this man wouldn't be good for elections. I'm not surprised at all by the comments this guy made about slavery. I would expect them out of someone like this, especially considering his background in the "sovereign citizen" movement. I thought some eggheads behind the scenes would have told the republican politicians to stay away from this man, but maybe they left the party as well. I managed to overestimate the intelligence of modern Republicans. I thought they would be smart enough to stay away from a man who threatening to engage in warfare with the "nonexistent" US government. I'm actually surprised that I was wrong.
