He doesn't usually put things that bluntly. He must really be disappointed and disgusted. TwilightGardener Apr 2014 #3

I've seen reports out there that he's contributed to California Dem campaigns in the past.

Disappointing, if true.

This idiot has a half black girlfriend, so why does he care is she appears with black people? I don't necessarily get racist logic, but it usually makes sense within its own confines. He owns a basketball team, and thus being a racist doesn't even compute. He knows there are talented black people and even admits Magic Johnson is to be admired. Why wouldn't he himself want to be seen with him? If he's going to be a snob, one would think it would be poor or ordinary people, white or black. Or ugly people. But then, from the photo I've seen, he's one of that group.

. . . though, it is perfectly clear, as the president said, that his comments were racist and ignorant.

. . . when I'm dead.

Any assertion of freedom of speech invites, and should anticipate, differing opinion.

I was checking to see if the president's remarks were being covered after reading an article in one of the newspapers in Texas.
