Bundy is a rich old fool who honestly doesn't see himself as racist -- just superior. He doesn't hate, he just condescendingly and ignorantly pities African Americans. The feelings he expressed about them is detached, if contumacious.

Sterling, on the other hand, is a much richer old fool who clearly despises African Americans, even his own employees. The feelings he expressed about them is visceral and loathsome.
