Ukraine offers its territory to NATO for transit traffic.

The Ukraine dreams of becoming NATO's chief partner in evacuating troops from Afghanistan. NATO is facing the problem of transport routes, so the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence is offering its infrastructure for the transit of the US contingent.

This information can be found in the secret correspondence of General Anatoly Petrenko representing the Ukraine in NATO. As was reported earlier, Ukrainian hacker Cyber-Berkut group got access to this information.

In particular, the document reads that the US has lost the opportunity to use the Manas airfield in Kyrgyzstan. In addition, regular drone missile attacks on the Pakistani territory resulted in Islamic extremists' retaliatory raids, which almost blocked the southern transit route of NATO military cargoes.

The Ukrainian military believe that the US may also face problems with airlifting cargoes across the Russian air space. So the Ukraine intends to hold private consultations about placing the airfields in the western and central regions of the country, as well as the airfield of the Odessa sea port at NATO’s disposal.
