The war criminal of a dick was attacking Obama in Washington yesterday

http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2014/04/rep_steve_scalise_brings_dick.html
<snip>
WASHINGTON -- Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Jefferson Wednesday brought Dick Cheney back to the Capitol, where the former vice president got a rousing response from members of Scalise's conservative caucus.

"He was back in his old stomping grounds and it was great to see him," said Scalise, the chair of the conservative Republican Study Committee (RSC).

According to reports from those who attended the closed meeting, Cheney, who served in the House 1978-1989, said the Obama administration's weakness in foreign affairs is undercutting U.S. influence in the world. He criticized cuts in the Pentagon's budget, and said Republicans needed to resist growing isolationist views in the United States.

Scalise said the message from Cheney, who got several standing ovations, was that "anytime we neglect our nation's defense, it comes back to bite us."

STFU you Dick!!

Really? I wonder if he could name just one example in support of this extraordinary claim? The truth is that we've been spending more money on our military than any nation on Earth for as long as I have been alive, so it's silly to claim that our nation's defense is being neglected. Frankly, I think he's been burning that straw man too long. There's nothing left but ashes.

Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US was the President's Daily Brief prepared by the Central Intelligence Agency and given to U.S. President George W. Bush on Monday, August 6, 2001. The brief warned of terrorism threats from Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda 36 days before the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Is that what Cheney means "Anytime we neglect our nation's defense, it comes back to bite us."

Do you think he learned a lesson here?

Sounds like a restoration effort to me.

Scalise is aspiring to be like Cheney: Legislative history

In 2011, Scalise became a co-sponsor of Bill H.R.3261 otherwise known as the Stop Online Piracy Act (withdrawn Jan 23, 2012).[9] As chairman of the Republican Study Committee, Scalise in December 2012, dismissed, Derek Khanna, a committee staffer because of pressure from content industry lobbyists after the study committee published a memo advocating copyright reform.[10]

In 2013, Scalise voted against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act.[11]

they would not allow neither him nor Bush on the Republican podium in 2008 nor 2012, correct?

But lately they're embracing him more often. They seem to be trying to lift Cheney up.

Lookin forward will do that, looking backward would have them on the defensive.

Its silly to condemn these fools if the leaders won't hold them to account. At some point it's just another scene in a tragic drama.

A colossal blunder not to enforce the plain meaning of our system of laws under the pretext of not wanting to "politicize" policy disagreements. War crimes and crimes against humanity aren't just policy disagreements, and that "politicize" boat sailed back in 1998.

Guess he is upset he and Dumbya couldn't find bin Laden in eight years and Obama did in a little over two. He really needs to go back to his "undisclosed location" and STFU.
