General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI don't know how the Ohio Democratic Party does it.
As the May primaries approach, our mailbox is getting slammed with flyers and our phone with robocalls scaring us into believing that the liberals are causing all of the problems in Ohio.
I can't figure how they are doing it, considering the Republicans have held the governor's seat for 19 of the last 23 years. Republicans have controlled the Senate every year since '93 and the House all but a couple of years since that time. They've also controlled most, if not all elected statewide administrative seats (Sec of State, AG, Auditor, Treasurer, etc) since '93 and held most of the seats on the Ohio Supreme Court since then.
Yet, we're constantly being told that we cannot return the liberals back to Columbus and aggravate the problems they've created in the state government.
Somebody help me out...how have the liberals been such an influence when they haven't controlled ANYTHING in Ohio for the better part of the last 20 years?
In case someone is questioning my mood
The other thing that's so stupid about this whole thing about returning the liberals to Columbus--the Repubs are acting like this is the general election. The obscene amounts of money for misguided campaign flyers and robocalls is asinine.

Columbus also a Democrat. Toledo an independent.
