With Hillary Clinton almost assuredly running for president in 2016, Monica Lewinskys Vanity Fair piece today set off a lot of peoples conspiratorial alarm bells, with some suspicion anti-Clinton forces might have been behind it. But on The OReilly Factor tonight, Lynne Cheney suggested it might have actually been pushed by Clintons team themselves.
Guest host Laura Ingraham talked with Cheney about liberal attacks on the Bush administration, and Cheney briefly addressed it before pivoting to Lewinskys piece and making an observation. She said, I really wonder if this isnt an effort on the Clintons part to get that story out of the way. Would Vanity Fair publish anything of Monica Lewinsky that Hillary Clinton wouldnt want in Vanity Fair?

No?
Nevermind, Lynne. You're too irrelevant for us to give a damn.

Whatever one might think of the Clintons, they aren't stupid.

Hillary's campaign managers want to have this moment now, rather than later, knowing people like so many on this thread and others are going to have vapors over this.
here's what Skinner said - If Hillary Clinton does run for president, the republicans are going to try to make an issue out of the Lewinsky scandal. Depending on what Lewinsky says in this profile, and depending on the size of the media frenzy NOW, then we might be spared a much larger media frenzy LATER when Hillary decides to run for president.
Better to have the Lewinsky media frenzy now, rather than after Hillary gets the nomination. It could have something of a immunizing effect.

the only nut job I see around here is you making wild accusations about something no one actually said.
