I'm curious... Who would you vote for in a primary...

Given only these two options as the only two candidates, who would you vote for? There's a lot of talk on both sides about this issue, and I'm curious where we stand as a group.

The point isn't to see who would win, the point is to see where DUers stand on the issue. I am curious because there is a lot of back and forth between the two camps, and I'm sure that no one has actually sat down and compiled data on it.

Because I seriously don't know.

Hillary is going to have an uphill fight should she win the nomination -- unless the Republicans are stupid enough to nominate Ted Cruz. But even then, it's going to be a repeat of the 1990's with every cheap, sleazy talking point making the rounds. Listening to that for the next year is almost too depressing to think about.

I love Elizabeth, but if you get west of the Alleghenies (except on DU, of course) she's a nobody. I don't mean that in a derogatory way -- it's just that among people who aren't political junkies, I'm sure that 90% couldn't tell you the name of the Senior Senator from Massachusetts. Money says that half would say "John Kerry."

You know I'm right.

Plus, while I like, and agree with, EW's economic platform, I haven't a clue on where she stands on the other 70% of the POTUS job.

So long as they're both Democrats, there is no "group". We'll all vote for whomever we damn well please.

Warren isn't running so this is the "Mighty Mouse vs Superman" debate.

Of the people who have expressed interest, my first choice is Sanders (provided he runs as a democrat) and my second is Gov. Schweitzer.

In all truth though, I'm much rather keep Warren as a legislator; the Democratic habit of yanking good legislators out of office in order to try to make them Executive isn't a great one. We need liberal lawmakers.

I must qualify something that many warrenistas will not like. When examining her voting record, just like Obama, it is mostly center to center right, There are a few issues that place her to the left. So you will be in for the same kind of disappointment.
