Howard Dean, Rudy Gulianni op-ed criticizes diplomacy with Iran.

From the op-ed, via Daily Kos:

Yet, tragically, the firmness they were yearning for has become hostage to nuclear negotiations that are stuck behind “hard decisions by Tehran”— and that is while Tehran’s nuclear infrastructure has remained intact and the centrifuges keep spinning. In the meantime, the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, underscored last week that the regime “will not give up its nuclear achievements and nobody has the right to negotiate over these achievements.” The weak policy vis-a-vis Tehran has only emboldened it to intensify suppression, continue massive support for Syrian dictator Assad and to slaughter its opponents, members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran in Camp Liberty in Iraq.

dean has always leaned more conservative and he is an early supporter of hillary clinton. this was one issue where obama and clinton disagreed during their campaign.

What is it about American politicians and their love affair with the cult known as the MEK? Weirdos.

When he was Chairman I once saw him interviewed and he claimed that the Democratic Party Platform had a plank against marriage equality. He stated this lie as a fact. On national TV. Chairman of the Party, unaware of what the platform says and willing to assume it supports his own personal bigotry. When I called him on it, he and his office were the very personification of slimy panderers.
50 State strategy a good thing, Dean himself not a good person, I see him as a bigoted, self interested lout. Which is coincidentally exactly how I see Rudy.
