5. Normally, knowing a series is 14 hours long would make me hesitate to begin watching it but...

when it comes to Burns' documentaries, the hours fly by and I am always a little sad when they come to an end.

I'm still working on Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Bully Pulpit". I too am fascinated by TR.

12. That was a great book! I like how she showed the differences of temperament between Taft and

Roosevelt and how that affected their use of the bully pulpit. I also enjoyed all the history on McClures magazine and Ida Tarbell, Lincoln Steffens etc.
