Here it is, one-quarter of the way into the baseball season and the broadcast TV stations in my major-league city have carried a grand total of two games one local and one national. Baseball has moved to cable so that the super-rich owners can get even richer.
Some fans don't think cable is worth the cost but they might want to attend a few games in person. If they go to the team website they will see outrageously high ticket prices, but they are marked with asterisks. Is that the cost for a pair of tickets, or a four-pack? No! The fine print says that the team is now practicing something called dynamic pricing, meaning that the cost gets even higher as you get closer to the date of the game. And this is in a city with lots of games canceled because of weather, meaning fans often wait till game day to buy tickets!
And to think that the fans paid for the stadium!

forgot to add the

What is greed?
More than you need.
