so if Oliver & Zimmerman were both employed in illegal activity...

....what is the complete story regarding that?

It was Lawrence O'Donnell who exposed that Oliver and Zimmerman were employed together; now we know that they both were employed by some entity that ran illegal house parties. Zimmerman was security; I'm not sure what Oliver did, but he got scared when O'Donnell raised the issue.

Illegal house parties. Does that mean drugs, sex for money, alcohol without a license, what exactly?

Is there some kind of racketeering going on? Who in the PD protects this "enterprise"?
