1. No they won't. What could the Epic Failure Party do to stop these clowns?

That would mean the GOP needs a momentary lapse of reasoning. Sorry, don't believe in miracles. They live in this deeeep pit called denial. You would have to destroy their money maker. Truth would mean even more lost seats.

They are a lose-loser party. The entire lot of them.

Good thing DU isn't the party.

8. I believe we can keep the Senate.

And I like our chances in 2016, but don't think we should take it for granted by any means.

But honest question, and I'm not trying to be negative with this:

How can we reclaim The House this time when districts have been so Gerrymandered? Midterm election turnout favoring Repubs aside, they've seriously rigged the game in The House. Is there a realistic shot?

That said, we should absolutely fight for every House seat we can get, and we absolutely must keep the Senate.

11. I agree ... especially when the progressive wind is felt even in Georgia

This state ... long a bastion of right wing banality ... is aching for a change. You can feel it. It is ripening, but has not ripened yet. With some focus by the Democratic party, a bit of money, a bit of organizational help, some amazing things could happen here.

If we have opportunities in Georgia (and we do), we have opportunities everywhere.
