Seems To Me We Need To Keep An Eye On Anyone Publishing A Manifesto To The Internet......

Now I know not all manifesto's are written by deranged potential mass murderers - but - oftentimes than not - it seems that these deranged mass murderers write up and post a manifesto on the internet somewhere. It seems to me 'manifesto's' put out there on the internet are a red flag and should be taken seriously. The person posting should be followed up with a visit by someone in authority to determine if this person might be a loose cannon just waiting to be set off. Better to be safe than sorry.

That's just my opinion after this latest incident in Santa Barbara.

a new webpage is indexed with the word "manifesto" in it? Modern times require modern solutions?

would just find a different word instead of "manifesto." As a matter of fact, I don't believe Rodger even used the word "manifesto." Probably the best prevention for this type of crime will always be a family who is aware of its troubled members.

Trouble is, people might write things like that as fiction. I saw a little of his creepy video. Had I seen it in another context, I would have assumed he was doing a performance.

Like they say, most mentally ill people are not violent. It appears there is no way to tell who is going to snap this severely. IMO the answer is fewer guns and tougher access to them.
