(72,790 posts)He'll get a multi-million $ deal somewhere and be just fine.

(24,331 posts)CNN isn't going to take him. Bridges have been burned with MSNBC and Current. Where else is he going to go?
He'll be fine, since he's ridiculously wealthy, but I doubt he's going to be on TV in any real way again.

(72,790 posts)He's a smart man. I am sure he will find something to do with his professional life.

(26,260 posts)I loved Countdown, but it is becoming increasingly obvious that no network is going to want to put up with his entitlement issues.
I just wish he would settle this out of the limelight. He is going to bring immeasurable harm to progressive programming. And, he risks even MOST unflattering details being released.

(23,664 posts)And I agree with most of America. He can go be the top TV personality in Bumfuck Egypt as far as I'm concerned.
You have to be skeptical of any article that appears on Yahoo but if even half of was in that link is true it confirms my opinion that Olbermann is a miserable human being with no regard for anyone who works for, with, or over him.
His show was a bright spot in the day for a lot of us back in the Bush era. But he needs to grow up and deal with life as it is, not how he wants it to be.

(11,366 posts)from MSNBC to Current, right?
Apparently, he has some regard for the people who work for him.
BTW, most of the TV personalities on either network are pretty whiny, if you ask me.

(1,956 posts)I suspect getting a network to offer him something is a stretch. He's pretty much radioactive right now.

(431 posts)He is as likely as Weiner to make a comeback.

(1,326 posts)(Gee, never thought I'd say THAT sentence, haha). But seriously- I could see Keith starting up his own news network, either online or to streaming set-top boxes like Roku. That way- he could be his own boss, and he could get his message out. I know the costs to start this up would be enormous, so maybe charging a small subscription fee and getting some sponsors could get it done.

(26,355 posts)Keith could self-finance a web show. And he'd be free to do whatever he wanted there.

(32,080 posts)Is that the same Mediaite that's run by Dan Abrams, who hates Keith? Lots of allegations from unnamed people in that article, but no actual facts.

(75,480 posts)He can work at home and all he needs is a literary agent to get his work published. He is already established as a writer and he won't have to work for anyone other than himself. Some people can't and shouldn't work for or with other people.
