Experts Say It Was Not George Zimmerman Crying For Help On Trayvon Martin 911 Call

Two forensic voice identification experts have examined the 911 call made the night 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot in Florida, and both agree the screams for help heard right before Martin was shot were not from Zimmerman. Tom Owen, forensic consultant for Owen Forensic Services LLC and chair emeritus for the American Board of Recorded Evidence, told the Orlando Sentinel he used biometrics voice software to compare the screams with Zimmerman's voice. It returned a 48 percent match—Owen said to reach a positive match with audio of this quality, he'd expect higher than 90 percent. "As a result of that, you can say with reasonable scientific certainty that it's not Zimmerman," Owen concluded.

1. For those that need clarification...48% means about the same gender of voice

and very little else.

For instance i would expect my father and myself to have about a 75-80% match.

I not exactly tech savvy, but I do have my voiced recorded on at least two answering machines: cell phone and work. And I know I've left voice mail numerous times, so my voice is recorded there as well.

Was Martin's cell phone ever found? What did he do for his voice mail?

6. Yeah, but the guys who did the voice analysis were not from the investigation

or the police dept. They were just two independent experts.

on home videos, cell phones, etc. They can check that against the cries on the recording.
