A message to Iran from Israel: I love you

more US Senators have signed bill to make it ok to bomb Iran, Leon Panetta: Israel strike in Iran will engage US.

The Powers want to lead into more money for war contractors profit, more for the lobbyest, more for oil companies.

and we will all pay for it. 16 million children in Iran don't want us to bomb them. They don't want to be maimed or have their country destroyed like Iraq, to be left with depleted uranium so that they give birth to babies with extreme birth defects.

AND many in Israel don't want this either.. Send the link below to your senators and tell them shame if they voted for the bill or thank them for not voting for it.

Peace activists in Israel have launched an internet campaign to try to prevent conflict with Iran

Peace activists in Israel have bombarded Iranians with a single message this week: We love you. A video has been posted on YouTube showing Israelis belonging to different ages and classes, sending messages of love and peace to Iranians. In a single day, one of the videos was viewed almost 40,000 times.

"For there to be a war between us, first we must be afraid of each other," say activists on the video. "For there to be a war between us, first we must hate. I'm not afraid of you, I do not hate you, we don't hate you.

"I don't even know you, we never met an Iranian... Sometimes I see here on the TV, an Iranian, he's talking about war, I'm sure he does not represent all the people of Iran. If you see somebody on the TV who's talking about bombing you, be sure he doesn't represent all of us," say others. "We love you."

The Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, reported at the weekend that hundreds of anti-war activists also rallied in Tel Aviv on Saturday in protest at a possible military strike against Iran.

A Facebook campaign of "Israel loves Iran" has also been launched, attracting more than 40,000 members so far.

Israel's Assassination of Gazan Leader Lays Groundwork for Iran Attack

"Bibi Netanyahu returned a few weeks ago from his annual pilgrimage to Washington DC, where he met with the president and thrilled an American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) crowd with his usual baleful predictions of Jewish catastrophe at the hands of a nuclear Iran. Though the hysteria of the prime minister's portrayal of the Iranian threat led anyone listening to believe that he would attack Iran sometime down the road, it wasn't clear to me whether he would wait, as Obama sought to do, for sanctions to debilitate Iran's economy, or go it alone and strike sooner."

There are now 67 Senators who have signed the Resolution which would also abdicate Congress’ constitutional power to declare war.

My MN Senator Klobuchar stumps on her “protection of women and children” but that is a total lie as 70% of the war and drone bombing casualties are women, children and civilians. I can not vote for her nor are many anti-war activists in MN.

OFFICIAL SUMMARY
The following summary was written by the Congressional Research Service, a nonpartisan arm of the Library of Congress, which serves Congress. GovTrack did not write and has no control over these summaries.

2/16/2012--Introduced.
Affirms that it is a vital national interest of the United States to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability and warns that time is limited to prevent that from happening. Urges increasing economic and diplomatic pressure on Iran to secure an agreement that includes: (1) suspension of all uranium enrichment-related and reprocessing activities, (2) complete cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regarding Iran's nuclear activities, and (3) a permanent agreement that verifiably assures that Iran's nuclear program is entirely peaceful. Supports: (1) the universal rights and democratic aspirations of the Iranian people, and (2) U.S. policy to prevent the Iranian government from acquiring nuclear weapons capability. Rejects any U.S. policy that would rely on efforts to contain a nuclear weapons-capable Iran. Urges the President to reaffirm the unacceptability of an Iran with nuclear-weapons capability and oppose any policy that would rely on containment as an option in response to the Iranian nuclear threat.
