Bomb Goes Off At Planned Parenthood In Wisconsin

Just one 'classic media' outlet - Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - called it a bomb (so did Business Insider, Huffington Post and 'The Frisky', which is, surprisingly, not a website for cats). To most 'classic media' it's 'an explosive device' or just 'explosive'.

No-one has mentioned the word 'terrorist' yet:

Too many wanna be wingnut money-worshpping morons for my taste - especially the managers I was dealing with. The only professional I dealt with was the guy who the morons called a "nut", because he had serious talent and did'nt kiss their ass or worship the Packers.

The plant manager of the facility I visited was a huge wingnut who kept print copies of World Nut Daily on the coffee table in the reception area.

of Homeland Security, ATF, and the FBI. I imagine there will, indeed, be an investigation. Here's a story about a similar situation that includes the ATF and FBI. They do investigate these things:

I've been by that place a lot and never noticed Planned Parenthood's facility.

Add to this the story about a man from our town who went to Madison with a gun for the expressed purpose of "killing an abortion Doctor". He's currently ordered to stand trial in Federal Court in Madison.

The GOP has whipped up the rhetoric to a fever pitch which has driven the nutcases from the shadows to the forefront.

Damn.

But these crazy bastards have been out there in the street for over 30 years (anywhere from 1 to 3 or 4 a day, sometimes none). They are a band of nuts and this is not the first time they've planted a pipe bomb or whatever it was. About 25 years ago they blew up a schrub on the property. I guess they've been emboldened by the GOP attack on American women.

Edit to add: The Planned Parenthood offices are on Wisconsin Ave. This is a separate clinic where abortions and other procedures are done.

just terrorizing. Sorry, I know I'll be unpopular, but my first thought was "at least the timing and size were non-lethal."

These people are so rooted in their belief and the "god-given right" to interfere with the beliefs and values of others, that there really is no hope that they will ever change, or have ever changed. What's changed is our politicians, both sides, but mostly Republicans, just entirely choosing to be over-taken by this group, which is also the anti-gay-rights group for the same reason.

Ironically of course, this religious interference in gov't is specifically addressed in the Constitution and yet the party of small gov't, of constitutional "purity" is totally becoming the equivalent of an Islamist party. (note: Islamist referring to extreme and extremely controlling parties within the ME, not to all Islamic religion nor parties nor countries nor peoples.)
