Three buses carrying 140 illegal immigrants are heading back to San Diego County after being met by angry protesters at the Murrieta Border Patrol facility Tuesday afternoon.

The group was flown from Texas to San Diego Tuesday morning and quickly boarded buses bound for the facility. They arrived in Murrieta shortly after 2 p.m.

A group of protesters waving American Flags actually blocked the buses from entering the Border Patrol facility. Residents were lining the street early Tuesday morning with signs, one of which read, 'Return to Sender'.

After the protesters intervened, the buses turned around and drove away from the facility. Our crew at the scene confirmed the buses are on their way back to San Diego County.

It is insane to try to hold onto a moment in time that is more of a myth than anything else, when this continent did not even exist as the USA. It didn't have man-made borders, and doesn't belong to any one group now.

There are problems to be sure with immigration, but the real problems are much higher up in the world. IMO, immigrants should be welcomed to be part of the experiment named America. Those with the most to lose, still love those ideals, some of which came from natives.

Probably the same kind who wanted to ship the unwilling Africans brought here back to Africa when slavery was ended. Most likely had no problem with Mexicans being used as slave labor here after that time, either.

There are several churches in Mexico next to the border who are housing/ caring for hundreds of children from central America. The Central American countries have no place, no facilities set-up to care for any deported children. Their countries are war-torn, more than half their people are in total poverty. These children could die/be exploited if dumped back in those countries.

If they were from Mexico there is a method to get them back to Mexico quickly. They have facilities in place.

I-15 near Miramar around 3:30 yesterday, and there were camera crews on the freeway shoulder.
Then about 5 minutes later 3 Homeland Security buses pass me on the freeway with some TV vans in tow.
These must have been the same buses pictured.
They appeared to be heading to Chula Vista.

How can these people block the INS entrance when these undocumented immigrants were being
processed to be exactly what they wanted, deported?
