Yellowstone Park - Amazing day! Saw baby Grizz Cub and watched a Mountain Lion stalk its prey!

Plus the *usual* multipoint elk bulls, bison, pronghorn antelope!
Absolutely magical place in the early hours of the day before the crowds arrive.

That cat was grace epitomized! Just watching its fluid movements.... Wow.
Totally unexpected gift, the park has exceeded expectations every day. Especially once we learned to arrive shortly after sunrise to beat the crowds!

I saw a big Griz on the shore of Yellowstone Lake a few years ago. Took my little grandson with me on that trip, he loved watching the bison block traffic on the road.

10. Thank you Solly! Yes, I am fine now. Funny thing, we got on and rode 45 miles after the crash...

Chris took a photo of me at lunch that day, and I was clearly pale... But we had to get to our next hotel so we rode. The constant headache took a toll tho, I think without it we would have continued beyong kansas....

Have had some magical moments there myself.

Did you see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone?

zero traffic except when bison blocked the road, watched as a grizzly meandered through a scenic overlook parking area like it owned the place. Yes, the mud pots were awesome.

Probably the best NP we've ever been to (so far), and that includes the Grand Canyon.
