http://www.pinterest.com/HobbyLobby/Hobby Lobby has a huge presence on Pinterest. I'm thinking it might be the perfect place to let them know what you think about their discriminatory policies. Pinterest is also a really good place to get the word out to women who shop there that they are supporting a business that hates women.
If you have a Pinterest account and some kind of "crafty board" perhaps you could get creative or just leave a comment on one of their pins. Or, a lot of their pins.
I've edited this to add this great graphic from BainsBane. Feel free to Pin It to all your craft boards!

I was looking at their "Quotes" board. Lots of opportunities for creative comments there.

(3,469 posts)I'd really love to see a massive anti-Hobby Lobby campaign on Pinterest. There seems to be a lot on Twitter but Pinterest is the place to hit them where it would hurt. If I have a better internet connection this weekend (I'm camping) I'll start another thread with some different graphics I'm gathering. I think it would be great if folks started "pinning" some of the graphics and they would spread around Pinterest.
I hope some creative folks will come up with some craft projects to "pin." I'm thinking of a poster made with glitter that says simply "Hobby Lobby Discriminates Against Women."
I checked their site. I left a comment on their "4th of July" board. It looks like they clean up dissenting comments quickly. I will have to check back over the weekend to see what else pops up. I look forward to seeing more graphics. I wish I had the techie know-how to make those things.

(3,469 posts)I just created a new Pinterest account called Crafters For Equality. I'm starting to compile various graphics, etc. and thought it would be good to get them all together in one location so people can find them and pin them to their pages. Could you check it out for me and see what you think? Once I get some more stuff added, I'll start anther thread and share the link and the graphics but I want to make sure it looks ok before I publicize it. Mostly I just want to make sure I didn't spell anything like a teabagger.

(3,370 posts)I'll re-pin from there tomorrow. It's not letting me log in at the moment (happens sometimes). I like what you've got there!

(3,469 posts)It's funny, I was on my page and clicked off for a few minutes and when I went back, I saw 18 repins! Lol, that must have been you. Thank you. You are so awesome. I followed a couple of your boards, too. I'll probably go back to my regular page later and follow some more.

(3,469 posts)That's perfect for Pinterest!
I'm not really an expert on Pinterest. I have an account but I mostly just use it to look for design ideas (I make jewelry) and to find recipes. I'm thinking the graphics are the best idea because we could "pin" them separately from the Hobby Lobby page and they can't do anything about that. They are deleting the comments from their page.
