JPMorgan headm Jamie dimon, announces he has throat cancer.

Posted without comment................

Jamie Dimon, whose eight years atop JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) have made him one of Wall Street’s most powerful leaders, said he’ll start treatment for throat cancer, raising new questions about succession plans at the biggest U.S. bank.

Dimon, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer, told employees and shareholders in a memo his condition is curable and that he’ll continue running the firm “as normal” during eight weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. The treatment will start soon at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, limiting his travel, the CEO said.

“The cancer is confined to the original site and the adjacent lymph nodes on the right side of my neck,” he wrote. “Importantly, there is no evidence of cancer elsewhere in my body.”
The illness will revive questions about how the panel would theoretically handle his succession, said Ralph Cole, a portfolio manager at Ferguson Wellman Capital Management Inc. in Portland, Oregon.

When the statement he as a banker was doing God's work while expelling thousands from their homes and worse passed through his throat....

With any luck and a just God, it will be painful and terminal.

And often pain and death can be the visible signs justice has been served, whether by human agency or divine.

If one believes in divine agency, anyway....

at war with the soul will always die first and this is his wake up call to grow his spirit. I don't expect him to. But he has the opportunity to learn that no matter how much dough you have, it is never enough if you don't have your health. His evil just blew up in his face.

And I have never seen much value to pretense of loving enemies and miming sorrow at their misfortune or downfall --- I consider such behavior repugnant, and to reflect very poorly on those who display it.

Just over a year ago to cancer. Very similar to this but it had spread to the lungs and brain before detection.

I wish the best to anyone battling that horrible disease

So, not so much about caring about Michael Douglas or this fuck, but if you notice swollen glands, chronic sore throat, difficulty swallowing even if you're young, not a tobacco user, etc - see a doctor.
