Neighborhood 4th of July Parade

Last edited Fri Jul 4, 2014, 09:21 PM - Edit history (1)

We have a fourth of July parade down our circular street every year. It's just magic; not large by any standard, but probably the nicest thing about this town. Most of the adults start drinking first thing in the morning and there's a softball game later on in the afternoon with the two adjoining streets competing against each other. We had perfect weather this morning . . . Here's two short vids of the parade:

. . . in one of Rouse's wonderfully economically diverse communities. Hippies started our parades 30 or so years ago . . . still has that ragtag flavor.
