Just Heard On Seattle KOMO TV Channel 4

They were reporting about the main Seattle 4th of July Fireworks display. At the end of the story they show a man in Army camo's and they reporter said "the military will be there just in case of a glitch". What GLITCH I ask.

More preparation toward a military state, mainly to protect corporation.

1. I have seen two huge explosions at fireworks celebrations. But I think having the military handle it

may be a tad to far. The fire departments usually do it in our area.

It always sounds like WWIII from where I live just a few blocks from Lake Union, so I probably wouldn't know the difference between celebration and terrorist attack.

Especially with the people down the block shouting "I love America" "Go USA!" type of drunken revelry at the top of their lungs.

It seems even worse than usual this year.
That was a hefty one just now.

With Komo being sucked up by Sinclair, who knows what they're being told to report on now.

Still like Steve Poole though.

9. It's not uncommon for the military to lend out their bomb squad folks.

Tonight there's probably more demand than the PD and fire department folks can manage on their own.

I'm pretty sensitive to the whole creeping police state issue, but I think the OP is a stretch.
