Every few minutes, when I'm trying to have a laugh, I'm bombarded with these grisly anti-smoking ads.
Just ban the fucking poison and leave me alone.
Quit depressing the shit out of me all the fucking time.
I've got enough of my own problems, without worrying about all this shit.
Ban the poison. Make it so we can't get it. Quit making my quest for entertainment a minefield of depression.
Enough, already.

(16,844 posts)some other civil disaster, I don't really pay much attention to anything on TV. Much of the programming on TV is nothing but strategies to control the herd. They have their own agendas and although they might make you believe that they know what's best, they aren't ultimately concerned about your happiness or well-being. If TV is getting to be too much, maybe the universe is telling you to pick up a book or do something constructive with your time.

I'm talking about the psa's by the federal government. They are extreme and scary. If you haven't seen them, you must not watch much tv.

It's the "tips from former smokers" campaign.
edit: shortened all of the links to avoid bias, I just don't want to remind the OP of these ads, they're really dark

For what it's worth I hate them too. Really creepy.
My mom smoked 40 years though and can barely make it 10 feet without being out of breath. So I appreciate the videos.
