Jimmy Carter blamed for Iran Contra on UP no correction

really MSNBC. Sad, just sad. On edit, the context was a discussion of mediocre Presidents when one panelist chose Carter stating that among the problems of his Presidency was Iran Contra, with nary a word from anyone.

My husband said she didn't know any presidents so she just went with him...made me laugh, because it's probably true. Though it did look like the guy next to her moved like he was thinking "huh?"

I was disappointed in Steve to not say, "Um, that was Reagan," and move on.

why do you think GE bought NBC in the first place?

Because it was in operation behind the scene without Carter's knowledge. At least the part where the GOP operatives got the Iranians to wait until after the election to release the hostages.

Does anybody know how to call MSNBC? I would like to call and complain about it. The level of ignorance of the so called news people is really appalling.

Complaining about Jimmy Carter is a classic right wing talking point, as well. We know that woman is not on the side of the 99% for sure.
