Right-wing nutjob latest outrage- "Costco pulling deSouza's book"

Now.. as I searched google I can't find one single legitimate news item on this, but every rw site is blasting it.
The Blaze, WND, The Washington Times.
Then a search show it all over Free Republic and every other nut site.

This is a good read: http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/43574_Wingnut_Outrage_Du_Jour-_Costco_Derangement

CostCo, which pays its workers a living wage, whose CEO/Owner receives less than $1 million/yr in compensation, must be COMMUNISTS!! WHY ELSE WOULD THEY REMOVE THIS BEST SELLING MOAST PATRIOTIC BOOK FROM THEIR SHELVES HURR HURR!!!!!!

Oh wait you mean it’s not selling so well? And Costco is not really a bookstore and has limited space for books? And don’t they also have a 1st Amendment, not to mention a Free Market right to decide what they will carry in their inventory?

The hysteria as wingnuts compare a private business decision to OMG OMG OMG IT’S JUST LIKE TEH NAZI BOOK BURNINGS OF TEH 1930’S HURR HURR!!!!!!

Have these freaking morons ever heard of public libraries? Where you can get books to read AND IT’S FREE.

This is stupid, just trying to drum up publicity for the book.

As the record shows. Republicans like to give lip service to "free markets" but that's just a front. Republicans always channel our tax dollars into Corporate Socialism & Eternal Tax Breaks for the Rich.

It really is sad.

Then they complain that their things are not selling well, blaming a "liberal conspiracy". Geeze.

You would not know the book existed, if you didn't search it out.

Meanwhile, on the New & Bestseller tables and shelves was every new wingnut book.

15. This probably is an economic decision, but there's another possibility.

A company might at least consider a policy of "We won't sell books by convicted felons." A milder version would be "We won't sell books by convicted felons until they've paid their debt to society, by finishing their sentence."

If some Muslim in jail for terrorism were to write a book, I'm sure the wingnuts would see the wisdom of this policy, and would denounce any retailer that sold the criminal's book.

As for D'Souza, I think his status is that he's entered his guilty plea but hasn't yet been sentenced, so he hasn't even started serving whatever time he gets.

Urging everyone to go there and complain to management. Ugh. What outrage will they think up next?
