The 99% have been getting crushed for the past 30 years

I'm utterly flummoxed as to why we'd pin our hopes on those who've led us in a losing battle during that time - or even worse, have led the enemy's attacks on occasion.

It makes no sense, sorry.

Not understanding what sparked this. Is someone suggesting we vote for Republicans around here in 2014? The midterms?

context here- or out there, in the real world. When someone explains the context, the other person evaporates. It's happened a lot lately. YMMV, but I think it's interesting to note.

Until someone else suits up and gets on the field.

If this is specifically about Hillary Clinton I hope hope hope she isn't our candidate and that we get someone who is more progressive; but if she ends up in the slot, I'll vote for her.

We have the best politicians money can buy.

*********************************

This focus on the 99% is the obvious failure. We should be begging the Ones for a little more trickle down. Our leaders are our best 'bet' for that trickle. Thank gawd for the 1% who can afford our politicians. If we take too much from them they couldn't afford republicanism. But a trickle here and a trickle there and it's all good!

That way you can still breathe in the co2 creation from the job creators. Just think of yourself in the warm pool of trickle, and it's all good!

All he ever did was side with the 99 against the Ones who hated him with a burning passion which showed just how dangerous Nader is to their "take your trickle and STFU' command and control of the economy.

I get while some people still blame Nader for everything.... they are idiots, eh?

And we also know you aren't stupid enough to really believe it, just too polite to say it to our faces (as if you'll ever get into one of our events - you can't swing the $10k per plate private events). In in reality, you know and we know that we are working for the truly wealthy alone, hoping to be one of them someday (though much like junior high, they still won't accept us no matter how much we fawn over and give to them)."

I don't care how many noble sentiments they express or how much they say they care about the middle class and America. Actions have spoken louder than words ever could.

It would be really nice to hear an, "I'm sorry. Maybe I'm just not what it takes to be president of the United States. Think I'll go do something less demanding like run a charity."

Funny - at 15 - in 1988 I knew this . . . But I also used to dread 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm - The Yelling Half Hour.

That odd Twilight Zone place where your father yelled at the CBS Evening News every time that asshole Reagan came on t.v. And for the next hour or two "stop acting like a Republican" meant "stop being stupid". Normally followed by dumb ass.
