A grover norquist quote that explains why Obama must win.

Yes, Mitt is inept, Yes, Mitt has no spine, Yes, Mitt might even try to bend left to make people like him.

But never forget, the power broker behind the GOP is Grover Norquist, and here is a quote that explains why Mitt is not accpetable under any circumstance:

http://www.westernprogressive.com/2012/02/norquist-wants-a-yes-sir-republican-president.html

"All we have to do is replace Obama. ... We are not auditioning for fearless leader. We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget. ... We just need a president to sign this stuff. We don't need someone to think it up or design it. The leadership now for the modern conservative movement for the next 20 years will be coming out of the House and the Senate."

Note, Grover knows that they do not need, nor even want, a leader in the white house, just a ribber stamp. They very weakness of Mitt --->IS<--- the selling point, just a W's low IQ was the selling point back in 2000, after all, they want the real leadership to go on behind the scenes, away from any voters.

Remember this quote if you think of staying home in November.

I also bet, that the reason they chose Palin in 08 is because they thought they could manipulate & control her. They made a mistake then, in choosing an egotistical & stupid opportunist (this comment pretty much explains the 2012 Republican primary clown show.

Scary, indeed.

Who the hell is this guy and why does he matter? I mean, I know who he is, but what gives him the power...especially to have representatives elected to represent US, signing pledges to HIM? He has money, but apparently has never done anything worthwhile. He's a bit treasonous, in fact, and seems like a scruffy, weird guy when he makes an appearance. I would never vote for anyone who'd take orders from this guy. If he had a counterpart on the liberal side, I'd be just as leery.

Who the Republican nominee is does not matter one bit, because they would end up simply being a rubber stamp for a Republican Congress. Look at every bad, crazy, or destructive piece of legislation the GOP House has passed--that's the real Republican nominee.

GOP intends to destroy the very fabric of society is clearly evident in Ryan's budget: the fact that the GOP gleefully and brazenly flaunts the electorate with that fact in no uncertain terms clearly indicates, imo, that they fully intend to win in November and will do whatever (any and all) it takes to get the job done. Then Ryan's budget will be rubber-stamped.

is what we've been getting from the GOP since Reagan.

But the thing is... it IS Congress that makes laws, and the Prez can either sign them or veto them. But he's also Commander & Chief... and the connection to other leaders. Norquist is myopic and as delusional as a religious leader.

They hate this country and wish only to serve themselves, re-pig-licans, all of them.

This quote should stay on our front page until after the election. This is what the GOP is about, they want to ruin our country & have been going about doing just that while spewing lies and fomenting hatred.

What he wants, is 240 people in the House and 52-53 people in the Senate who will do anything Grover Norquist tells them to.

Fun fact: Norquist is married to a Palestinian Muslim, and he founded the Islamic Free Market Institute. Why a party who hates Muslims as bad as the GOP does takes its marching orders from someone this heavily invested in Islam is beyond me.

Sometimes, the devil is in the details. In this election, thanks to Citizens united, we are not just fighting whatever electroal machine Mitt cam buy off. There is a larger establishment that frankly knows that do not need mitt to "approve this message", nor will they need to seek his approval for anything after the campaign, as they probably have stacks of documents waiting for his rubber stamp right now.

I am not going to gild Obama, or for that matter the whole democratic party. Heck, in 2016, our own puppet masters in the DLC will probably do their best to position a Hillary or Rahm Emmanuel, someone who will run from OWS with both legs, and have the ear of many of the same Wall Street creeps. However, we do have to acknowledge that, because we allowed George W. to stuff the Supreme Court with POLITICAL OPERATIVES, we have to worry about much bigger foes than whoever the face of the GOP is.

Note I say operatives, am I using the same term for Alito that I would use for a Chinese spy?, I offer as my answer: China could not have done more damage to America if they told Alito how to vote. Let's face facts, there is nothing a China, a Russia, or for that matter, an Al-Qaida from shoveling billions into the campaign to make sure we shoot ourselves in the feet. This is not to make us fear foriegn countries; this is to show that things that were unlikely before are fair game now. It's not about brings Knives to gunfights anymore, it is about a new from of Civil War, where both sides act as if we are not in a state of Civil war just because people die in gutters rather than on battlefields.
