Watching the Big Bang Theory tonight and read the message at the end of the show...

He all but endorsed president Obama.

The message is about living by the rules we were taught back when we played in the Sand Box. For those of you who are not Boomer's, the parents of our generation seemed to believe that putting sand in the middle of a box in the middle of, what we called back then a "playground" which, I gather, would now be called something like the "informal collection of value teaching objects where children can learn even as they involve themselves with activities that are constructed to induce a feeling of fun", can be useful as we, as adults, try to wind our way from the "playground" to "real" life, was fun.

What Mr. Lorre was pointing out was that it all boils down to that the game we call "Ideals vs. Money and Bats" which we begin to play first in the sandbox and later in real life.

For me, and Mr. Lorre, Ideals are the way to go. Alas, Mr. Lorre believes, as do I, that far too many of our comrades pick Money and Bats.

Which is probably why I never did learn how to get along with others
