Teen beaten by Israeli police returns home to Tampa

TAMPA -- The teenager from Tampa who was beaten by Israeli police earlier this month returned home on Wednesday.

Tariq Abu Khdeir, a 15-year-old Palestinian-American student at Universal Academy of Florida high school, arrived at Tampa International Airport around 10:30 p.m., and spoke to the media shortly after.

"It was by far the scariest thing that's ever happened to me," Khdeir said. "I hope the violence stops."

Khdeir's mother, Suha Abu Khdeir also spoke to the media after her son's arrival.

was happening to this kid. Not Kathy Castor, not Rubio, not Bill Nelson. Democrats refused to help him just as much as Republicans did.

Not even a private call of support.

Suha Abu Khdeir, Tarek’s mother, said that the family had received good support from the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem. Asked whether the family had been contacted by either their member of Congress, Rep. Kathy Castor, or their Senators Marco Rubio and Bill Nelson, with words of support, she said they had not.

Because he was an Arab and his victimizers Israeli.

In case people want to tout 'bipartisan' votes in Congress, remember that Congresscritters like those three view kissing Israel's ass more important than representing their own constituents.

What Israel lobby?
