“That’s my tax money taking care of a foreign national or however you want to classify them”

When did we become a country that DIDN'T care for refugees?

“That’s my tax money taking care of a foreign national or however you want to classify them,” said Mr. Griffith, 51, a volunteer fireman and researcher at a chemical plant. “I don’t want to take care of a foreign national. It’s not my problem. We did house kids in Brazoria County there at the youth home. I sort of feel like we should be taking care of our own first.”

THIS is ALSO Being Funded By Your Tax Money Mr. Griffith (& btw, you can classify them as fellow HUMANS):

So, Do you oppose THIS sir?

peace & tolerance,

The anti-gubmint, anti-tax crowd assumes these kids will need government assistance requiring taxes for many years, in some cases all their lives.

Some may even feel there is already enough cheap labor here to cover all the low-skilled jobs that can't be moved to China, Vietnam, or Bangladesh.

Liberals pay tax money too. It's a law passed and even signed by the Shrub!

It proves their real reason for their conservatism. They want to feel superior to someone. They feel superior to children born in third world countries. They have more money than those children do! Must be because they worked harder or are smarter. If they don't brag about it directly, they use this way of doing it.

Bet his taxes don't even cover a day's pay for an ICE agent.

6. The whole law needs to be decided one way or the other

Nancy Pelosi said, "change it" and then changed her mind and said "don't change it" and quite a few Democratic politicians did the same thing. Either keep it or change it but make the decision one way or the other. Bush should never had signed the bill in the first place. It had something to do with sex trafficking which our country does not even do at all.

who is a tea bagger and he thinks the same way. I have given up trying to change his mind on the tea bag talking points because it really raises my blood pressure.

It seems like we have a large swath of our population who would rather take comfort in talking points and sound bites rather than in reality.

After all, it's unlikely that his taxes are enough to pay Boehner's bar tab for a year.

And they have lots of good ideas as to how to get us there.
