Yep. As in if their leader gets killed in a covert operation I'd probably be happy.

Utter bastards. Luckily it's probably gotten to the point where even Putin can't all but openly back them anymore.

They are fighting for their independence after russian propaganda told them that the new ukrainian government were thugs and lackeys of "the West". No wonder, they want to break away.

The ukrainian elections were a chance to bring the country back together, but the separatists missed that.

And even Russia has seen its error and the russian media has switched from a clear anti-ukrainian warcry to a more neutral-sounding, subliminal stance. The russian people have no appetite for war in Ukraine.



If the separatists were willing to listen and to accept that they have been lied to, and both sides were willing to compromise in a political solution, this war could be over in no time.
