I do not think he was serious. I don't think he meant it in any way unkindly.

Not suggesting anything lurid mind you, I just remembered when Susan Strasberg was on the Rockford Files when I saw Lois' face.

One of the rare Hollywood types that stays married to the same spouse for the entire life. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I like seeing that.

Thanks for sharing the video. We need so, so many more Jimmy Garners in this world.

that they met at a party for Adlai Stevenson! I knew they were solid democrats. I've never seen pictures of her--she is one of those women who keep getting more beautiful with age. I adore almost everything James Garner has ever done. His sense of humor seemed to touch almost everything he did.

Wounded twice in the Korean War and received the Purple Heart.

Was a big, strong kid in high school and played various sports but then dropped out before graduating.

Smoke pot for 50 years and swore it was a tremendous help for his arthritic pains (multiple knee operations).

One of the few in Hollywood who married the love of his life and kept the marriage strong the rest of his life.

Once said marriage was like the Army. "Everyone complains about it, but they keep re-enlisting".

A poor kid from Oklahoma that became a star but never let it go to his head.

A loyal Democrat and liberal 'til the day he died.

She liked classical music a lot. My dad had NO interest in music or dancing! He tended to be a couch potato until diabetes turned him into an exercise nut.
