She still comes across as wired, jittery, and 2 syllables ahead of a Attention Deficient attack, but back then, she was playing to the audience more, happy to be onstage and in the center of attention.
This time, her head is down a lot, her enthusiasm is way down, she spends more time looking at her notes, which clearly were written for her, but she could not even deliver the lame jokes well.
She seems to be more resigned to giving a speech than liking it.
