Tea Bag Birther on Barrett Jackson auction.

The collector car auction on Speed Channel is in Palm Beach Florida this week, and they were just auctioning off a charity car. Personally, I think the company does this for tax relief, and often paint up a car in patriotic colors and raise money for America's favorite soft spot, the troops. The price goes through the roof as draft dodging multi-millionaire bidders step up to do their part.

The car just on, autographed by hundreds of soldiers and their families, raised nearly a million dollars for "Wounded Wariors Family Support" (Not the Wounded Warrior Project). Before the bidding began, they threw the mike to organization chairman Col John Folsom, a veteran of the Iraq War.

He told the crowd that "people ask if the president's name is on the car". After a pregnant pause worthy of amatuer night at Hilarities, he added: "but a lot of Americans are". Predictably, he slayed the convention of 1%ers who gave a broad smattering of standing Ovation and laughter.

Apparently, the colonel prefers to help Republican veterans who were injured overseas.

...Unlike the people who did autograph the red, white, and blue Mustang.

Why he chose this venue to express his partisan opinion, I don't know.
I wonder if he checks veteran's politcal stripe before he administers aid.
