In Texas the districts are so very gerrymandered facilitated by the crook Tom Delay. I look at the maps and it looks like a mosquito flew and made the boundaries. The GOP can not stand on their own legs, they have to be crooked, not to be trusted. They would like to see Democrats never voting again. I heard one theory this morning if they can disgust enough Democrats about a terrible run government then they win, we have to be sure this does not happen. GOTV and register those who think like we do.

Because Hispanics, "Monorities," and the Disabled are nothing more than fodder for your political ambitions? Because poor people should just do what they're told so that "our team" can win elections?

You really need to think before you post. Some of your little hit 'n run proclamations are interesting, some of them are just dumb.

One must disempower one's political enemies by any means necessary and strip them of any representation if you want a truly representative democracy.

It's rather like the enlighted population transfer policies of the Ottomans and Ivan the Terrible. Both picked up and moved people en masse. It broke up groups that might pose a threat--whether in Novgorod or Finnic peoples, Tatars or Volga Germans, if you're Russian. Circassians and Armenians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population_transfer

The net effect would probably be wealth destruction. Wealthier GOP areas (not poorer ones) would be the preferred destinations. Property values would go down, but those who moved in would also see property values decline. (There's no wealth transfer there, though; the transfer would have happened when the people bought their houses, prior to the loss of value.)

In short, it treats the innocent as chattel in order to punish a group that includes at least some guilty and some innocent. It elevates vindictiveness to a progressive moral virtue.
