I don't do Twitter, but I did signup a couple of years ago. Cut to the chase: "stevedeshazer", a long dead DUer (an Oregonian with the rabbit icon) sent me a tweet a week or so ago. I know that after Steve's death, his daughter posted for a short period. WTF is this scam?

(25,396 posts)Next Saturday is my last day. But I'm burning some annual leave to do some photo work at Empire Ranch, and I have some command rug dances at the Ranger HQ. But, yes, I am on the Lemmon Rock tonight. August 2, 2014, and the heater has been running since about 3 PM!

(1,264 posts)I'd hoped to drop by again on another day hike before you departed, but I think I'll be too busy this weekend for a drive up the mountain and a dayhike. It's been comforting to know the fire lookout has been in good hands this summer. Safe travels!

(25,396 posts)Thanks Viva. Steve and I were plotting a meet-up, maybe at the lookout tower in the Deschutes NF. So sad. And so FU that I get that "communication."

Hopefully the tweet will turn out to be totally benign.
