that the wheels of history are turning in a beautiful way,
that change really is possible, evolution is afoot,
goodness & integrity & the human heart will one day prevail.

I don't idolize Obama in any way but he's the right man
for the job at this time and he's a good, good man.

I'm sure I could never have adjusted to being a member of the First Family if that had been my fate. You're photographed from in front, the side, the rear, and even the rear in close-up and you always have to wear a smile and look happy despite the fact that you may not be happy (who on Earth is always happy?) and that you may not want to go out on a particular day or you may dread going to the place where you have to go. I don't think any movie stars or other famous people are photographed quite this much and in this microscopic detail always with the expectation that they look happy and that they be doing certain expected things. I couldn't have handled this for a period of years. To be confined to a famous building all day and night and whenever I leave it my life is under a microscope, I think I'd go nuts, especially if I were a young person like those two girls. But this First Family makes it look effortless.

Beauty is as beauty does, I know. And both girls are pretty, but the older girl, although always a standout, just seems to get more and more beautiful.

The younger one seems to have spunk, energy, and pizzaz, in addition to being pretty, while the older one seems more elegant to me.

What a happy looking family. The color that the First Lady is wearing is one of my favorite colors.

better yet, they all look like they like each other. And that they're happy to be together - and not just for some photo op. And our First Lady is just damn magnificent!!!!!!!
