‘SNL’s Victoria Jackson falls to incumbents



Victoria Jackson, the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member who has made a name for herself as an active tea party participant, conservative activist and outspoken opponent of President Barack Obama, has lost her bid to win a spot on the Williamson County Commission.

Jackson received 632 votes, losing out to Judy Lynch Herbert, with 1,422 votes, and Betsy Hester, with 1,380 votes. There were also nine write-in votes. The County Commission has 12 districts with two commissioners in each district.

Hester is a District 2 incumbent. Herbert had been a District 3 commission, but because of the new district map, is now in District 2.

“I am very pleased,” Hester said. “I want to thank all of the voters who turned out in early voting and all the voters who came out today in this heat. I pledge that I will continue to work hard for the Second District and will continue moving forward.”

to hating on the very people that kept her house warm and her fridge filled.

the only thing I remember about her from SNL was her being upstaged by Steve Martin and a cat puppet.



I think I also remember her being scantily clad and doing flips on the Weekend Update desk, or something.

Talent.

I could never figure out how she got a spot on that show.

9. You know you are a sad case, when you have to make a 'name for yourself'

after being on SNL when it was some of the better years for acting! I guess she got addicted to being a royal loser.
