Anti-Gay Bigot Infiltrates Gay Pride March; Brags About Handing Out Fake Condoms

Donning pink hair and short-shorts, vehemently anti-gay 'Christian' activist Bill Whatcott went undercover in Vancouver’s Gay Pride Parade for two reasons: To openly mock LGBT people to their faces and to hand out fake condoms that were actually filled with little leaflets spelling out the sins of homosexuality.

Whatcott, who spends his days promoting “gay conversion therapy” and blaming homosexuals for AIDs with a group called Christian Truth Activists, decided he wanted to undermine Vancouver’s annual gay pride event by blending in, gaining the trust of other revelers and then laughing at them behind their backs at being nice to him when he really thinks they’re sinners; Think of it as a hate-mongering version of Candid Camera where the joke is that gay people are going to hell and they can’t even tell when a pink-haired bigot is mocking them. Is it offensive? Yes. It’s also sad, childish, and pointless.

Hmmmm.

Under the "cool story, bro" portion of the excerpt from Mr. Whatcott's posting, he talks about handing a condom to a chubby, almost naked woman (a descriptor he uses more than once, "Hmmmm" again). Now, why would this woman, presumably lesbian, want or need a condom? Hmmmm. And apparently, he had other condoms on him that didn't have spurious judgments included. Yet another "Hmmmm."

Dr. Freud's answering machine indicates he's on vacation right now (it's August, after all). Surely Sigmund would have a field day with Mr. Whatcott and his evident neuroses.
