And historically, "limited bombing" has a way of not staying limited.

Yes, Bush was a skidmarks of the tighty-whities of history, but that doesn't make MORE KILLING ok.

limited military strikes from the air and sea.

This is what our military should be used for... missions with small objectives.

And I hope future Presidents follow Obama's lead on this.

11. I'm not pissed...just a bit puzzled.

Particularly since you posted that hours before I even knew that this thread existed.

And just so you know, I'm not posting on the bombings out of personal enmity towards you...so you have no reason to feel any towards me.

I just don't want more carnage. Bombing doesn't stop killing. Nor does it have any other effects that are ever good for, as we used to say "children, and other living things".

I created a poll and I bumped it to the top of the page to prevent it from sinking so I could get more responses/votes.

Yours I wasn't expecting, but I find it amusing nonetheless.

You yourself said you hadn't seen the post. Why? Because it sank from the top of the page.

I simply replied to my own post so it was "kicked" to the top. That way people who hadn't seen the poll could vote.

It isn't brain surgery.

And I wasn't baiting you by asking about it...honest.

It was just a question, and I meant nothing by it.

they're in the process of letting Iraq divide among itself with some military influence from us on how that division takes shape.

I posted an OP some months ago that I believe perhaps Iraq would be more stable as three nations or at the least three strong autonomous sectors of one nation.

Thanks for the thread, Cali_Democrat.
