Mia Love is beatable - Doug Owens only trails Republican darling by 12.

12 points is a sizable margin - but not for a Republican in Utah.

To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, here's how the three congressional Republicans fared in their first election to the House (a decent comparison):

Rob Bishop (beat Democrat Dave Thomas in 2002 by 24 points).
Chris Stewart (beat Democrat Jay Seegmiller in 2012 by 29 points).
Jason Chaffetz (beat Democrat Bennion L. Spencer in 2008 by 38 points)

Love is only up 12 - and held a similar lead in 2012 when she lost to Matheson in one of the biggest election surprises of the year.

Most have written off this race. But 12 points ain't nothin'. I still think Love is the favorite ... but Owens can win.
