May Robin Williams pass quietly into the night, free from pain.

I thank this President for his words as always they are heartfelt. He ended up touching every element of the human spirit.

But I just had to explain to my youngest why I'm crying while looking at my phone.

Robin was such a big positive in my life without every having met the man. His humor, at a young age for me, taught me how to laugh at the world and all its complexities when rational thought failed.

I'm going to miss you, Robin.

I shared one of my favorite Robin Williams movies with my 13 yr old granddaughter.
We laughed and smiled together--it's a bonding thing. She loved him and the movie.
When my grandson was about 15, I shared "Good Morning Vietnam" and Robin Williams performance with him.
Bonding. I was stunned to read Robin died and sad. Like a friend I'd just seen. Seems like the disease of
addiction finally wore him down and he he felt an overwhelming need for peace. And I've a need to say, he
wasn't just a fine actor or comedian. He helped bridge generations and enhance relationships.
So, yeah. I feel sadness.

every week when we were kids, staked our places on the couch for it. He brought people so much laughter, he didn't deserve to meet such a sad end.
