Ebola is sign of the "endtimes..."

According to this ditz, who BTW says marriage equality is "Satanic."

Janet Parshall: Ebola Is Part Of God's End Times Judgment

Submitted by Brian Tashman on Tuesday, 8/12/2014 1:30 pm

Religious Right talk radio host Janet Parshall stopped by the American Family Association show “Today’s Issues” yesterday to discuss the recent outbreak of Ebola in West Africa. According to Parshall, Ebola, the conflict in Ukraine, and violence in the Mideast are all messages from God telling us that the End Times are near: “God gives us a warning, another warning, another warning, another warning because he is a gentleman God.”

No, of course not...how can these people be SO FUCKING STUPID as to not even know that the Rapture isn't even MENTIONED in the Bible?! They must read the Scofield Reference Bible, kidding, no doubt making up compounding stories is easy for a pathological liar like Parshall.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18, For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
1 Corinthians 15:20-23, “But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. 21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ’s at His coming.”
1 Cor. 15:51-52, “Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.”

But Jesus did speak of the rapture:

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. (Matthew 24:40-44)

or as I like to call it "which loop hole"

http://agnosticreview.com/debates16.htm

Most loop holes have cults built around them. I stop when ever I hear a religious person say "what jesus meant here is…" Says who, says I.

This part is talking about when will he return,i.e. .rapture. I leave it at that.

(John 2:18, Matthew 16:28, Matthew 24:34, entire book of Revelations) and that was almost 2,000 years ago made by a doomsday cult of the time.

This is only how I see it. I feel everyone is free to see it anyway they wish.

"what jesus meant here is…", No?

I am a solid "I don't know, nor is it important to me" sojourning agnostic that has spent considerable time studying religious doctrine ... so I have heard/read/discussed many different "meanings" of many passages.

"... as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things with the sort of raffia work base, that has an attachment…at this time, a friend shall lose his friends’s hammer and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before around eight o’clock..."

I think that pretty much explains it.

Face it, it's been more than 2000 years now.

There isn't going to be any "Rapture" or "Endtimes."

There are a lot of religions where the head prophet said he/she would return after dying.
