I am about halfway through this documentary which is a series of excerpts from his secret recordings.
He was actually more loathsome than I thought, and I hated the SOB.
Any one else see this?

I had read the transcript years ago, but actually hearing Nixon and Haldeman discussing the details, I knew what has happened to our nation.

(135,425 posts)because I lived through it before it was history. I remember the way people felt, how they discussed it so ardently. Some people thought it was the end of the fricken world that the bozo resigned, and they were horrified that an "UNELECTED" guy was serving as our President.
Hell, at least Ford was a nice guy...who knew we had Dumbya in our future!

The war criminal self hating Jew. Probably thinks everyone was so unfair.

(60,010 posts)Even as early as his Checkers speech, he looked shifty eyed and dishonest to me, and I was just a kid then.
Come 1968 his face was on the tv a lot, he still came across as not believing anything he said.
