It's about 40:minutes into the documentary.

I had read the transcript years ago, but actually hearing Nixon and Haldeman discussing the details, I knew what has happened to our nation.

because I lived through it before it was history. I remember the way people felt, how they discussed it so ardently. Some people thought it was the end of the fricken world that the bozo resigned, and they were horrified that an "UNELECTED" guy was serving as our President.

Hell, at least Ford was a nice guy...who knew we had Dumbya in our future!

Even as early as his Checkers speech, he looked shifty eyed and dishonest to me, and I was just a kid then.
Come 1968 his face was on the tv a lot, he still came across as not believing anything he said.
